Established in 1976, Bond Street Theatre is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting peace and cultural understanding through the theatre arts. The company has created theatre-based programs for education, healing, and empowerment in areas of conflict and poverty worldwide, and psychosocial support to refugee populations. BST has been working in Afghanistan since 2002, partnering with local theatre groups to create peacebuilding projects for youth and adults. The company has initiated innovative programs in collaboration with local organizations in over 40 countries worldwide, including Pakistan, India, Kosovo, Bosnia, Albania, Colombia, Brazil, Venezuela, Haiti, Indonesia, China, Myanmar, Turkey, Israel and Palestine
