2021 Festival TBD - Stay Safe!

The Moisture Festival Podcast

Earlier this year festival artists Louie Foxx and Matt Baker started recording a podcast for the Moisture Festival featuring interviews with some of the festival’s performers, producers and people behind the scenes that help make the festival awesome.

Originally, the podcast was intended to kick off the 2020 Moisture Festival, however due to the COVID-19 crisis, the 2020 festival was cancelled. Now, we’ll be bringing you a bit of Moisture Festival magic twice a month through the airwaves.  New episodes will drop the 1st and 15th of each month.  Enjoy!

This episode, Moisture Festival founder, Tim Furst, joins the Moisture Festival Podcast. Tim talks about how being a conscientious objector to the war in Vietnam led him to learn to juggle and, subsequently, perform in the famous juggling troupe the Flying Karamazov Brothers. We hear some great stories about Tim’s tours with the Flying Karamazov Brothers across the world, appearing in the movie Jewel of The Nile, and how the Russian government thought they were agents of chaos. Tim also talks about what separates the Moisture Festival from other festivals and why it has been so successful.
