Emma Curtiss has been performing in the Seattle area for the last decade or so. Her core discipline is Cyr Wheel, but she also specializes in Aerial Fabric, Aerial hoop, Fan juggling and physical comedy. Emma has performed with local company Acrobatic Conundrum for years. Emma is also a founding member of the performance company Impulse Circus Collective. When she isn’t onstage dazzling an audience, she can be found coaching at the School of Acrobatics and New Circus Arts (SANCA).
Leah Jones is a Seattle-based aerial straps artist, straps artist and aerial choreographer. She has worked nationally and internationally with companies such as Quixotic and Stufish, and locally with companies such as Acrobatic Conundrum and Teatro Zinzanni. Leah is a member of the Bellingham Circus Guild, where she coaches, trains and creates.
Leah and Emma performed together with Acrobatic Conundrum in winter of 2022 and have been dreaming up a collaboration ever since. This year’s Moisture Festival will be the debut of their first collaboration in circus.
