2022 Moisture Festival: Opening March 17

Laura is a lifelong lover of heights and flight – these days, those passions are most often fulfilled by way of aerial straps and flying trapeze. Competing in gymnastics from age 5 to 16 left Laura aching for more creativity in her movement work, but after moving on to dance she knew she still needed acrobatics in her life. While in college she finally found aerial arts, and knew that this was the perfect combination of artistry and athleticism that she craved.

Laura is known for her eloquent movements and the strong technique she brings to her work. She has spent the last several years learning, teaching and performing at venues in and around the country like Canopy Studio, the New England Center for Circus Arts, Creactive by Cirque du Soleil, and Emerald City Trapeze Arts. Laura has called Seattle home for the last three years, and she’s thrilled to bring her straps act to the Moisture Festival for the first time.
