Duo Emirlo creates aerial duets that invite the audience to experience the joy and connection members Marlo and Emily feel when moving together. Based in Olympia, Washington, Emily and Marlo both teach at sparrow studios and Airbound Arts. Together they produce The Brotherhood Takes Flight, Olympia’s longest-running monthly aerial show. When not performing as aerialists, Marlo delights and challenges audiences with her clown persona Eda Begadix, while Emily’s first poetry collection, The Cold and Rust, was published in 2018 by Persea Books.
