Dana Smith has been entertaining the world since 1974 when he got his start with the legendary Royal Lichtenstein Quarter-Ring Sidewalk Circus. After touring nationally he settled into a long run at some of San Francisco’s best street venues. In 2001 the Edmonton International Street Performer Festival acknowledged Smith’s show by presenting him with the “Golden Finkel Award” recognizing his contribution and dedication to street theater. This is circus arts as accident, the present moment as the best possible instant to engage an audience. This riot of showmanship has employed dog, Shakespeare, and even as luck and fate would have it appeared on the Disney Channel. This is an act you’ve never heard of presenting a show you’ll never forget.
