Janet McAlpin & David Godsey (Teeny & Tardy, Esq.) This theatrical aerial clown duo has been creating and performing together for 25 years. Janet studied with M. LeCoq at Ecoles Jacques LeCoq in Paris, France. David did his post-graduate training at Circle in the Square in New York and then attended the Laboratory of Movement Studies at LeCoq. Shortly thereafter they joined with five other like-minded artists to found UMO Ensemble and are still active members of the company.
Janet & David have performed and taught physical theatre and personal clown and buffoon in the U.S. and abroad, where their inventive and thought provoking style of clowning has continued to delight audiences. They live on Vashon Island, and study clowning with their young son and mentor Kai.
