Join us Tuesday, December 1, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. for our next Moisture Festival Open Stage at Old Stove Gardens in Ballard.

This Open Stage comes with a little extra celebration! We’re combining the evening with our Moisture Festival Holiday Party, plus a Fun & Festive Fashion Contest with tickets to Opening Night of the 2027 Moisture Festival for the winner.

So come for the performances, stay for the party, and if inspiration strikes, start planning your festive attire. Sparkle, sequins, fabulous sweaters, tinsel, twinkle lights and Christmas tree hats are all encouraged.

Open Stage is where new acts are born, seasoned performers test fresh material, and absolutely anything can happen. Every show is different, packed with creativity, experimentation, and the joyful risk-taking that makes live variety arts so exciting.

Whether you’re a performer looking for a supportive place to try something new or an audience member who loves discovering something unexpected, Open Stage is for you.

Music, magic, clowning, comedy, juggling, acrobatics, circus arts, a dash of burlesque to warm up a cold December night, and delightfully uncategorizable acts are all welcome.

After 9:00 p.m., we’ll turn up the heat a little, with burlesque performances scheduled toward the end of the evening.

Each performer gets about five minutes to make an impression. Sometimes it’s polished, sometimes it’s gloriously experimental, and it’s always entertaining.
