Hosting an Artist is an integral volunteer role of Moisture Festival. Volunteering to house our traveling artists helps keep festival costs down and allows us to book acts from all over. This could be hosting an artist in your spare bedroom, your basement MIL, your backyard cottage, or many other dwelling options. If you operate an AirBnB, please consider donating a stay to Moisture Festival.
FAQ’s
What is the timeline for hosting?
Moisture Festival 2024 runs for 4 weeks, March 21st – April 14, 2024.
Artists are usually booked to perform for one week of the festival. They typically arrive in Seattle on Tuesday or Wednesday of the week they are to perform and depart Sunday or Monday. Some artists may come in for a slightly shorter or longer stay. It’s up to the host if you want to host one stay only, or several over the whole festival.
What is expected of me if I host?
Hosts are expected to provide clean, safe sleeping and bathroom accommodations for artists.
Hosts are NOT expected to feed, entertain or shuttle artists around. Artists are only expecting a place to stay while they are in town to perform. You can choose how much or how little you want to interact with your guest.
Are there any perks?
Hosts receive two comp tickets for each week they host so that you can come see a show featuring the artist you are hosting.
How does hosting work during COVID?
Please refer to our Moisture Festival Covid Safety Policy for the latest info on Moisture Festival 2024. If you have specific requirements for your household, please put that in your notes in the questionnairre.

New Hosts: Use the form to send us your accommodation and availability info. The Moisture Festival Housing Team will work to match hosts with artists for a comfortable and seamless stay. If you have more than one possible accommodation, please submit a response for each accommodation.
