Hoop Duality combines the skills and grace of Kirra Lien & Jody Poth, two proud Seattle natives.
After years of dancing, Jody started doing circus arts in 2011, initially with solo Trapeze. Jody continued working on mostly vertical apparati and after a few years, moved into the fantastical realm of duo work; inclusive of duo trapeze, duo straps and of course duo hoop….
Kirra studied classical ballet at Pacific Northwest Ballet School in her formative years, which lends grace and fluidity to her work as an aerialist. She performs as a soloist on hoop, aerial net, and sling. While she still loves to break it down on the ground, it is her great joy to share the gift of creative movement in the air!
These ladies bring their eclectic experience together on the aerial hoop. We know that our audiences will agree that Hoop Duality is a delight!
