DuoShadow (Rachel Barringer & Caroline Wright) has performed with Santa’s Circus, CirqueUs!, and the Boston Circus Guild. Caroline has performed across the US and internationally for many years, including with Cirque du Soleil. Rachel completed a contract with the Shanghai Circus in Branson, MO.
The original version of their duo hoop act (choreographed and performed by Caroline and Xochitl Sosa of Cirque Vida) won an Isadora Duncan award. In 2023 DuoShadow received a grant from the Contemporary Circus Immersive Arts Center (CCIAC) to make HELIX, a full-length show co-produced with Circus 617 of Boston, MA. DuoShadow has also performed in Cirque of the Dead with the Boston Circus Guild and Nutcracker Twist with CirqOvation.
