Dmitri Karamazov AKA Paul Magid is a founding member of the Flying Karamazov Brothers, probably the most successful juggling team in the history of show business. From a college-boy duo playing the streets and passing the hat to an in-demand quartet with their own show on New York City’s Broadway and then Furthur (no, that’s not a misspelling, Dmitri has been on the bus of that name, the one that Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters rode across the country furthering the adventures of early psychedelia).
Paul has made his home in Seattle, Santa Cruz, New York City, Port Townsend and Bologna, Italy and it’s not entirely clear which of them serves that purpose today but, we do know that he has a special love for this rainy town. When he’s here for the Moisture Festival he’s in the company of friends and colleagues who share history with this remarkable and funny man.
Oh Boy!
