Della Moustachella, a prolific circus and comedic variety performer for over a decade has been a Moisture Festival favorite onstage and backstage. Aside from her solo performing, Della has be seen performing as a giant hot dog with The Fun Bags, juggling atop a two high with Wren and Della, or teaching kids about healthy eating and lifestyle through circus in The Bellingham-Food Co-ops’ The Real Food Show (that she co-created with Sam Williams and Jason Quick).
Our dear Della can’t join us now, a drunk driver took her away from us last fall … but, as many natural comedians recommend, she left us laughing. This year of the Virtual Moisture Festival we’ll look again at her classic chair dance piece and remember that she used her talents to teach but she kept her attention on eliciting our laughter. She is with us.
