“Rain City Ropeworks delivers a fast-paced, high-energy jump rope performance featuring a cast of 14 dynamic athletes. The act blends multiple styles of jump rope — speed, freestyle, partner skills, synchronized group choreography, acrobatics, and visual rope manipulation — all woven together with upbeat music and crowd-pleasing moments. Audiences can expect big energy, tight formations, clever choreography, and the kind of “how did they do that?” skills that make jump rope unforgettable.
The performers are part of Rain City Ropeworks, a West Seattle–based jump rope team led by Coach Rene Bibaud, a five-time world champion and former Cirque du Soleil artist and coach. The full program includes 50 athletes from the greater Seattle area who train 10 months of the year and love sharing the athleticism, artistry, and pure fun of jump rope with audiences of all ages.
