For over a decade, Chana Hoops has been hooping on stages and on street corners, in her backyard and in the back-country, showcasing her versatility and profound love of the art. She’s a proud member of the Feral Fire Flow Collective in Port Townsend and is deeply involved in her local circus community at Pop-Up Movement where she juggles many hats. In addition to training hoop, cyr wheel, juggling, and handstands, she also coaches hooping and youth general circus, cleans the facilities, and manages the grounds. When Alex is not circus-ing, she’s probably writing poetry in her cabin in the woods. This act is as close as she may get to her pipe-dream of being a musical theater performer.
