Valentine Wulf, known onstage as Bambi Karloff, is a drag king, burlesque performer, and one of the fewer than 30 female sword swallowers in the world. Born and raised in Seattle and an alum of Youth Theatre Northwest and Three Dragons Academy, Bambi now attends Bennington College, where she co-leads Drag at Bennington and is studying playwriting, directing, and design. Her short play The Matter at Hand premiered at The Kennedy Center in 2023, and was performed across the country with five other short plays. Whether performing as herself or her bumbling male alter-ego Igor Wurst, Bambi’s atomic age style and cheeky Borscht Belt humor brings a midcentury flair to the age old art of sideshow.
