Bailey is a scar positive, signing, Deaf storyteller and professional dancer, who ran the first large scale body neutral professional dance theatre company in the US. This is where she met her long time dance collaborator Samantha Barrett, who performed and choreographed with the company for its entire tenure, has been a dance nonprofit Executive Director, and advocate for body positive arts. Says Bailey: “The perfect embodiment of what an abled ally could be”. As a circus ballerina, activist choreographer, and feature of both TV and film, Bailey is honored to start this new chapter of advocacy, representation and pushing movement-storytelling boundaries with the best person: Her best friend.
