Avi Kritzman is a circus artist specializing in antipodism, better known as foot juggling. Some years ago, he wandered into a recreational circus class on a whim. A year later, he was training in foundational acrobatics and hand balancing at The Sellam Circus School in Biddeford, Maine under the guidance of Master Coach Sellam el Ouahabi. A couple of grueling and magical years after that, he set out with his first mud show.
Avi can typically be found performing all across the US in traditional circuses, variety shows, and cabarets. Recently, he has been seen performing with Circus Grimaldi, Venardos Circus, and Piccolo Zoppé.
Some praise for Avi’s work include:
“You have talent but modern audiences don’t have the patience for a juggling act that long.”
“Your bald head and smiling face in the ring reminds me of the moon.”
“I thought for sure the umbrella was on a string at first but then you dropped it on the floor.”
Avi is extremely excited to return to Moisture Festival.
