Dr. Alex Kelly is a cellist, composer, producer and professor. He composes and performs with a variety of ensembles ranging from major symphony orchestras, new music ensembles, world music ensembles, jazz combos, etc. He has performed and composed with Bob Weir, Zakir Hussain, Kronos Quartet, Van-Ahn Vo, Alonzo King, Pickle Family Circus, Geoff Hoyle, John Gilke, Shannon Gray, 7 Doigts de le Main, Girl’s Circus and Amanda Starr among others
