Husband and wife team Sam Payne and Sandra Feusi have won high praise for their performance on vertical pole, in their performance appropriately named Vertical Tango. From their Gold Medal award at the prestigious Festival Mondial de Cirque du Demain in Paris, where one reviewer proclaimed that “The two partners move on their pole like souls in paradise” to the San Francisco reviewer who stammered “…. slitheringly sexily sensational …adults were panting.”

Sam is American and trained at The Circus Space in London as well as 5 years at the San Francisco Circus Center. He speaks English and Spanish while Swiss born Sandra speaks English, German, Swiss-German, Italian and French and trained at Scuola Teatro Dimitri in Switzerland as well as The Circus Center in San Francisco. They performed together with The New Pickle Circus, touring the US for 2 years and then Cirque du Soleil’s Saltimbanco for five years in Australia, Japan, Southeast Asia, the USA, and Europe as well as captivating audiences in both of Teatro Zinzanni’s dinner tent shows in SF and Seattle. We are so pleased to present them to Moisture Festival’s audience.
