Squirrel Butter are a Seattle duo made up of Charlie Beck and Charmaine Slaven. These two musicians (both are also performers with the band The Tallboys) perform traditional and original music influenced by Appalachian, early country, jugband, and blues artists from the late 1800’s through 1950’s … or, more succinctly, they are an “Old Time Variety Duet” They’ll join in the Moisture Festival fun this year and we are delighted to have them.
