Oliver Parkinson entered the world of circus by way of a diverse athletic background including fencing, rugby, and mixed martial arts. His imposing strength, athleticism, and surprising grace have engrossed us in previous Moisture Festival performances, and now he is back once again, this time with a new partner, the incredible Megan Stockman from Kansas City. Megan is a contemporary ballet dancer who sees aerial as an extension of dancing. She carries the story through her movement so every step has a motive, and every act has a theme, idea, and concept. She blends an incredible mixture of power and elegance. This is Megan’s first collaboration in duo trapeze and we are all looking forward to seeing what emerges from blending the skills and training of such remarkable performers.
