2022 Moisture Festival: Opening March 17

Noa is an American – Israeli performer. An opinionated contact improviser, skilled aerialist, devoted mover and clown. Noa has been making work in the air and on the ground since 2009. She is driven by puzzles of the body and inquiries of the human psyche and is dedicated to the exploration of physical and mental growth through performing and teaching.

Her audiences are invited into an intimate conversation on large questions, using the stage to magnify the delicate exchange that happens between internal composition, external reality and the poetry of their meeting.  Noa has performed her creations and the compositions of others across a vibrant tapestry of quaint homes, seedy bars, echoing theaters and damp forests. Noa’s work on the trapeze has provided her with the opportunities to work on projects with ON Contemporary Circus, Archaos, The Acrobatic Conundrum, Open Ring Circus and others across the US, Israel, France, Argentina, and Brazil. Noa currently lives at the Lookout Arts Quarry in Bellingham, WA where she teaches online, continues her movement research and grows food as well as healthy community living practices.
