Janet McAlpin trained for two years at the School of Jacques LeCoq (Paris, France), co-founded UMO Ensemble and has been teaching, directing and performing physical theater for over 20 years. Lynelle Sjoberg has trained and performed as a dancer, choreographer, aerialist (and sometimes yoga instructor). Separately and together they’ve given birth to several artistic events in the Seattle Sound area, including last summer’s astounding Vashon Island aerial event called Open Air. We’re lucky to have them working their magic in our community and now Moisture Festival is lucky to have them perform their new collaborative piece on a unique aerial device that resembles a suspended spherical egg.
