Angelique DeVil is internationally known for her unique choreography and dynamic stage presence. Though she has been training, performing or teaching dance for most of her life, it was in 2008 that she began her glittery love affair with burlesque. In 2011, she had the honor of competing in the Best Debut category at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas and thus began her world travels to festivals and stages all over the world including Dallas, San Francisco, Minneapolis, Seattle, New York, Florida, Milan (Italy), Jamaica and many more.
Her style can be best categorized as neo-burlesque with a strong contemporary/hip hop dance influence. She is most recognized for her pop-n-lock choreography which she utilizes in several of her numbers, including her award-winning routine, “Music Box”. Her repertoire includes comedy, drama, nerdlesque, character numbers, assels, tassels and more! She is the girl who puts the “pop-n-lock” in the “bump-n-grind”!
